A closed metal disc at rest. Spin it and six blades fan open into a flower.
This is the one that gets picked up off the desk. Sitting still it is just a heavy machined disc, six curved blades sitting flush against each other. Spin it and centrifugal force swings every blade outward at once - it opens into a six-petal fan, holds while it turns, then folds itself shut as it slows. At 152 grams it feels like a piece of hardware, and the spin lasts long enough to watch the whole cycle.
