Pick it up by the middle and the whole thing waves.

The body is a chain of separate armoured segments, each one hinged to the next, so the crocodile bends head to tail like the real animal moving through water. Swing it and the tail follows a beat later. The lower jaw is hinged too, so it opens and shuts, and the ridged crest runs the whole length of the back into a tall serrated tail.

It came off the printer already moving. Nothing was clipped together.
